2020, a year of gaming

2020 was not only the year of the pandemic, it was also a year full of great games. Check out this list of the best games of 2020:

Microsoft Flight Simulator

A showcase of Microsoft’s cloud technology, it had gamers soaring over a digital re-creation of the entire planet. Perfect for adventurers who couldn’t travel due to the pandemic.

Ori and the Will of the Wisps

This fairytale about a light spirit and an owlet lost in a forest feels real; every leap, run and swipe lands just right. The movements are precise and graceful.

Demon’s Souls

It was fully remade in 2020. Gamers must face hideous demons, undead knights and plagued creatures. Everything from magic to armor has a unique glow or shine to it.

Ghost of Tsushima

Ghost of Tsushima demonstrates precise action-RPG combat, where timely dodges and blocking are crucial, then blends it with different playstyles. This game can support never-ending options for tackling any given obstacle. It’s a fun and beautiful game.

The Last of Us Part II

This game is about revenge and the horrible things that humans can do to each other. It challenges the video game convention that because you are in control, you are the good guy.

Hades

Zagreus, son of Hades, must escape his father’s miserable underworld palace. So you must face hordes of terrifying Greek creatures until you finally make it to the surface.

Yakuza: Like a Dragon

A top Japanese gangster game about male friendship. You can sing karaoke, punch thugs or hit the arcades in this virtual Yokohama, but what you will remember are the main character’s (Ichiban) good deeds.

We expect that 2021 will also bring many exciting and interesting games. Keep playing!
